Your support goes a long way!

Every contribution, big or small, plays a vital role in nurturing the growth of Great Kids Farm. As a non-profit organization, we rely on the generosity of partners like you to cultivate educational experiences, foster environmental stewardship, and empower the next generation of learners. See how various gifts can help us reach our goals:

Endowment Fund

In 2023 an endowment fund was created to secure and grow financial resources that will provide long-term funding stability to support Friends’ operating expenses and mission, which includes supporting Farm to School (F2S) programming for Baltimore City Public Schools’ (City Schools) students. Through prudent investment strategies and responsible management, the endowment seeks to support The Farm in its efforts to enhance educational opportunities, foster environmental stewardship, and promote healthy habits for students, thereby empowering them to connect farm and plate while strengthening the students’ overall development

Recurring donations are a sustainable source of funds for the organization and help support various programming initiatives.

Donating as little as $5 a month can make an impact and would help provide supplies for workshops.

Volunteer

The Farm's small staff accomplish amazing things, but individual and group volunteers have been an important part of GKF's vibrancy since the beginning. Volunteer opportunities may include field trip and educational programming support, landscaping assistance, and administrative tasks.

Please email lnmenyuk@bcps.k12.md.us to inquire about opportunities for individuals, or email nancy@friendsgkf.org to inquire about opportunities for groups.

If you are interested in applying for a position on Friends' Board of Directors, email nancy@friendsgkf.org.
