Not everyone can make the trip to the farm. That's why the F2S staff developed an exciting array of virtual programs designed to bring the wonders of the farm directly to you. From interactive live streams to virtual tours and educational workshops, the online offerings provide a unique opportunity for students to explore agriculture, sustainability, and the natural world from the comfort of their classroom.
Facetime the Farmer
Schedule a 25-40-minute video call with the farmers and educators at Great Kids Farm for your group of students. Your students will be able to virtually check in on all that is happening at Great Kids Farm. Intended to complement your curriculum, F2S staff answer questions, visit animals, and check out how the plants are growing.
Virtual Field Trip
Intended for early elementary grades, this digital interactive experience lets students explore Great Kids Farm at their own pace. The plants and pollination sections have particular alignment to the 2nd Grade science unit, “What Do Plants Need.” They can visit learning stations, answer questions, and watch videos.
